At several of the past interior shows the salmon skin chair by Arctic was on view. In a way the chair reminded me of the 1925 art deco sharkskin cabinet by André Groult. This is however a luxurious AND upcycled product. Arctic uses fish skins that are usually discarded. Working by an Icelandic traditional process on a small scale, the result is a fine leather, durable and soft. What a beautiful texture and feel it has ! Available in 11 colourways.
